UNLOCK YOUR WHOLENESS
Over the years, humans have grown their awareness. You can see examples of this evolution embodied in dance, fashion, and sports. Through the heroic efforts of those who dared to challenge existing realities, we have also progressed personally, from traditional ideas of balance to current expressions of wholeness, the inner marriage of the masculine and feminine energies. The philosophy of Tantra captures wholeness and offers us a map to it. Body advocate Matt Meko uses Tantra’s inspiration to encourage your wholeness through complimentary methods of body support:
YOGA for ALIGNMENT Yoga moves your body efficiently through asanas (postures) creating alignment, mobility, and flexibility. You encourage your mindfulness with relaxed, subtle breathing. Expect to get out of your thinking head, into your feeling body, and go deeper in in peace inside and outside yourself. |
TANTRA for PLAY Tantra aims to cultivate spiritual awareness and transformation. Pleasure is your ally as you explore your curiosities through experiments (Tantra's word for exercises). You have permission to be all of you, the parts you're comfortable with and aspects of yourself that challenge you (and maybe others). |
WELLNESS for STRUCTURE Checking-in with how well you're taking kindness to your body will ensure that you're on track for longevity. Tending also takes community care and professionals with different skills to lift any individual higher. Here are a few referrals for your self-maintenance: ~ Massage with Eric ~ Tantra Study with Dancing Shiva Tantra ~ Mental health service with Bartja at EMFM ~ Trauma therapy with Bibiana ~ Grief support with Kara ~ Mediation studies with Kit ~ Volunteering with O'ahu Gav for Good ~ Hiking + with O'ahu Hawai'i Queer Hiking |

NAKED YOGA
People of all kinds participate in Matt's naked yoga private lessons and classes while being introduced to a few of Tantra’s wholeness concepts. Naked yoga private lessons are open to all gender expressions; naked yoga classes are for men in alignment with their gender identity; women and mixed gendered classes are not offered at this time.
Naked yoga class begins with breath work from your root chakra (groin). Asanas (yoga postures) follow to get you deeper into your feeling self. Modifications are given for different ability levels. Various guided partner stretches invite everyone to explore their personal care (class participants work with multiple partners; for your comfort, you could also bring an exclusive partner). We check-in through conversation for consent and to affirm our experiences. Great for owning your body and your life, what you could gain from trying naked yoga: acceptance, compassion, wisdom, fulfillment, integration, coherence, contentment, pleasure. What you could lose: inhibition, fear, pride, despair, sloth, loneliness, shame, clothes. Naked Yoga FAQ For answers to frequently asked questions about naked yoga, click here. |

TANTRA
Tantra Basics
Never heard of or studied Tantra? For individuals and couples who want to explore Tantra, Matt has developed a primer course rooted in Tantra's principles and application. Considering both the path of the individual and the importance of community, either in-person or online, Matt is excited to introduce people to Tantra in a fundamental, user-friendly, comfortable way. Contact Matt to learn more about Tantra Basics. Tantra Practice During Tantra practice, you'll be reminded how Tantra guides you in becoming more of yourself through reconciling your masculine and feminine energies. We'll create experiments which are information gathering vehicles for your transformation. Tantra practice is usually done naked, but it can also be done with clothes. We use consent and boundaries (known or as they surface) to keep the work safe and judgment free. When tomorrow seems to stop offering, this is an especially good time to rely on Tantra's wisdom: ground, reconnect, breathe, feel, then remember how to play. If you're doing well in life, use Tantra to proactively keep you on your course. Tantra FAQ For answers to frequently asked questions about Tantra, click here. |

ABOUT MATT
"Since 2001, I've been lucky to have worked with thousands of people who took some of their time and energy with me to take care of themselves. From young to old, sick to healthy, poor to rich, the labels never mattered in the end. The transformative wisdom that came through their bodies is what I recall. What I hope my clients remember from my efforts with them is that we danced, that we had fun, that we built on their short term and long term health goals, that we were alive together, both doing our best to enrich each other's existence in our own ways.
The video above demonstrates how privileged I've been to view life from many different perspectives: this angle, that flip, upside down, turned around... I continue to be honored to be a body support resource to all people."

PS -
Most people don't give their body any daily attention. Don't be most people today. Here's something you can do to take control, to feel like you've achieved some self-care:
• Take care of yourself mentally by taking only 3 bites of your dessert. The first bite is amazing, the second bite is still good, the third bite is not as good as the first. Hint: Make sure your bites are not huge.
• Take care of yourself physically by doing 3 different exercises for 1 minute each. Example: jumping jacks, high knees, push-ups; do whatever exercises that work for you.
• Take care of yourself emotionally by taking 3 deep breaths your whole body breathes. This will slow and settle you.
That's it! Success. 🎉 🙏🏻
